Channel Communications Specialist

The Channel Organization is seeking a Communications Specialist who is ready to make an IMPACT!

The role will deliver and perform high-value internal and external communication across the country. This includes supporting the Channel Leadership Team in defining and implementing the internal and external communication strategy and acting as a liaison between the Channel Organization and our US Wholesale Distributor Partners.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS:
  • Manage and lead internal communication strategy and plan, working closely with the Channel Enablement Manager and Channel Leadership.
  • Leverage the company's communication tools (Viva Engage, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.) to drive efficiency in the appropriate communication plan and actions.
  • Manage the communication page on the internal channel SharePoint site.
  • Design and implement channel leadership communication towards employees in scope.
  • Plan and execute quarterly channel leadership and employee meetings (ie. Quarterly All Hands Call) to drive the organizations' priorities and people engagement.
  • Manage and distribute internal communications and announcements.
  • Support and partner with various lines of business to communicate internally about updates, changes, and promotions.


EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS:
  • Coordinate and manage external communications plans for our US Wholesale Distributor Partners.
  • Create and deploy a monthly Channel Comm newsletter to our mySchneider communications page.
  • Support and partner with various business lines to communicate externally about critical updates, changes, and promotions.
  • Manage external communications via email to partners from the branch level to C-suite executives.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE?
  • Bachelor's degrees in Journalism, Communication, Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines.
  • At least two years of experience in PR, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a passion for writing and a strong command of the English language.
  • Digital savvy, creative, energetic, and passionate about communication and people engagement.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience in handling above-the-line and below-the-line marcom tactics, including advertisement, event management, direct marketing, public relations, social media and digital marketing, and mass communications.
  • Ability to influence, convince, and foster collaboration in a matrix and dynamic environment.
  • Strong team player who can collaborate as part of a team.
