As a Business Relationship Manager (IT-business partner) you will be part of Schneider digital Europe IT organization, which executes IT projects, provides IT services, and support the full Europe region consisting of approx. 53.000 users spanning 38 countries, 277 offices and 96 Global Supply Chain sites.

The Business Relationship Manager is referring to the Head of IT for BeNe, Nordics and Baltics and will be a key part of the BRM team covering BeNe, Nordics and Baltics, who are the representatives for the 'business voice' in the European Schneider Digital (IT) organization. The candidate's key responsibility will be to ensure that the IT strategy supports implementation of the business strategy and is in alignment with functional strategy. The candidate will thus drive collaboration across the organization between Schneider Digital and business representatives ensuring IT plans are addressing business needs. The candidate must also ensure operational excellence by working with delivery teams on the performance and reliability of global and regional IT services.

The candidate will also be a member of one of the European IT organization DevOps teams responsible for supporting, maintaining, and developing different parts of the regional IT services and for executing projects focused on implementing new services/systems.

The preferred option is a candidate, who has the competence needed to work in the SAP ERP DevOps implementing changes and projects related to the federated SAP ERP systems across Europe, but applicants with solid BRM (IT business partner) experience and competence relevant for another DevOps are also encouraged to apply. This could be competence within HR systems, e-commerce platforms etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • IT Business Relationship Manager ensuring alignment between business and IT in Schneider Denmark
  • Creation of project demands, execution of local projects and support on local implementations of regional and global IT services
  • Ensure solutions are compliant with the rules and strategy defined by IT
  • Cost and IT Asset Management
  • Support and escalation on local IT challenges related to regional or global IT services
  • Work proactively for critical incident reduction and provide feedback to business on RCA to avoid further disruptions
  • Participation in one of the European DevOps teams working primarily with changes or projects within a specific domain/area (preference is the SAP ERP DevOps)


About you:
  • Relevant academic degree from a business or technical university
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience from a BRM/IT business partner or consultancy role
  • Project management experience and experience coordinating small teams
  • Solid understanding of ITIL best practices
  • Broad IT experience and knowledge related to e.g., system design, application platforms, cybersecurity, LAN/Wi-fi networks, infrastructure, the end user aspects of a PC environment, ...
  • Deeper competence within a specific area/domain relevant for one of European DevOps teams (e.g., hands-on experience with SAP systems in an enterprise application environment)


Technical Skills and certifications
  • Broad IT knowledge and experience
  • Deeper technical competence/know-how within a specific area/domain (competence within SAP ECC and/or S/4 Hana is preferred, SAP PS & CS is a plus)
  • Previous experience from similar industries is an advantage

Language: (languages necessary for this position)
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Danish language is an advantage
