Business Development Manager - Process Automation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis, monitor competition, and address customer needs.
  • Supporting a strong collaboration with marketing as basis for lead generation. Give presentations in the PA domain, support exhibitions.
  • Leading business development, sales efforts, and internal capability development to continue to expand our practice.
  • In general, create a pipeline of opportunities as a stable basis for your sales activities.
  • Owns the relationship with assigned End User customer accounts. Responsible to maximize profitability and expansion of PA portfolio sales within new and Targeted accounts in the geography.
  • Coordination of the proposal strategy management, responsible for pricing strategy.
  • Keep insight in activities / capabilities / performance of competition.
  • You'll be working with a range of Schneider customers to provide strategic guidance they embark on the journey to digitally transform their industrial company, providing credibility, expertise and insights to the digital design and business transformation.
  • Providing uniquely differentiated consulting expertise to our clients by helping them to develop and deliver world class change management business and operational technology transformation.
  • Leading client discussions to identify and shape new change management solutions, transformation, and OT opportunities
  • Building sustainable client relationships and your network across the practice

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business, marketing, engineering or digital - related field is essential.
  • Solid understanding + hands on experience of driving solutions key industry segments (Energies and Chemicals, Water / Wastewater, Mining and CPG)
  • Proven track record of identifying, designing, and shaping new client opportunities and a natural ability to build strong and sustainable relationships.
  • Experience in delivering high quality and insightful client presentations and deliverables.
  • Experience working with retail, consumer goods and services or travel and transport clients is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Ability to influence strongly and own the room in C-Level consulting.
  • Preparing a business plan for the assigned industry focus area and explore for new leads and market /customer information in the industry focus areas.
  • Defining the strategy for SE PA towards the End User and / or EPCs and implementing tactics resulting in a project win
  • Lead and coordinate the complex sale cycle from lead to closure.
  • Fluent in English
