The Power Systems business in the U.S. is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our sales strategy with EPC's.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible to grow our business with EPC accounts, with a primary focus on Medium Voltage and Low Voltage electrical equipment. You will manage all aspects of engaging with existing and new EPC accounts across multiple locations and segments.
You are a self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing environment, embrace ambiguity, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership while holding others accountable. If you are familiar with how EPC works and you are eager to make a significant impact, we want you on our team!

Who will you be reporting to ? Business Development Director
Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships with EPC accounts across multiple segments/locations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and increase revenue.
- Engage with EPC engineering, procurement & execution teams to develop relationships, understand their business and formulate business solutions to create value.
- Implement sales, marketing tactics and programs to exceed assigned segment objectives, growing in sales revenue and pipeline and providing strategic insights to drive innovation and competitive positioning.
- Develop and execute account business plans to achieve annual sales and business objectives, providing accurate and timely reports/forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Strategic accounts team and National Salesforce as part of projects pursuits.
What's in it for you?
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $244,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Qualifications
This role might be for you if have:
- 10+ years' experience working with EPCs.
- Solid understanding of Medium and Low Voltage electrical equipment, packaged solutions. (Switchgear, Motor Control Centers, E-Houses etc.).
- Understanding of EPC procurement process and contract types.
- Proven experience in working through large & complex sales pursuits with EPCs, End-users and other key stakeholders.
- Existing relationships with large and/or medium size EPCs across multiple segments (Power & Grid, Semiconductors, Water/Wastewater, Automotive, Energy & Chemicals, Metals & Minerals & Mining)
- Excellent Collaboration Skills: you can work co-operatively and make valued contributions. You exchange ideas and information with groups as well as individuals that have shared interests to build long-term relationships for mutual benefit and build passion and engagement towards a common goal.
- Creative Thinking: you innovate, generate, and promote new ideas within the team, challenge status quo, disrupt. You take the initiative and start-up.
- Ability to travel up to 30% to various customer sites/events. You will control your travel based on the needs of your customers and business.
