Schneider Electric is seeking a talented individual to lead our Drives and Soft Starters business development efforts in the British Columbia region. In this pivotal role, you will craft and execute innovative sales strategies, engage with new and existing customers, and showcase our cutting-edge drive and soft starter solutions. - Growth the drive & soft starter revenue by defining the sales strategy and generating sales within existing and new customers in the region.
- Promote our drive & soft starter (SS) offer and provide/conduct technical & commercial training/presentations, demo demonstration, hands-on training for the Schneider employees, distributors, system integrators, consulting engineers, partners, and customers.
- Pursue new account leads, research prospective accounts in target markets to identify and develop new customer opportunities.
- Supporting the sales team to win the deals by providing market intelligent and competition offer Knowledge.
- Work with the Schneider Electric sales force and specifier team engaging consultants/Engineering firms/EPC and large EUs to add our Drive/SS offer in the vendor list.
- Providing Forecast and Pipeline, account growth report, create success stories, creating BOM, reviewing the technical specifications, updating the sales force CRM, working with the technical team on the solution selling.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- University or professional degree in electronics/electrical (preferred).
- 5+ years' experience with the drive and soft starter offer.
- 3+ years' business development experience with the Industrial Automation offers.
- Drive and soft starter application knowledge.
- Ability to travel within the BC region (up to 50%)

The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $115,200-$172,800 for candidates who are B.C. residents. Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
