BMS-Advanced Technical Support Engineer
Mission:
Schneider Electric is in search of a Customer Success Advanced Support agent for the Greater India, EAJ region. This role will involve providing technical support for the SE Digital Energy Building Management System and Digital Energy- EMS Software's.
Assisting customers in maximizing their profitability through optimal use of SE technology. The responsibilities include delivering advanced-level technical support and services for Building Management System and Digital Energy- EMS Software's, serving as a trusted advisor, and ensuring swift and reliable resolutions during both pre-sales and after-sales phases when implementing Schneider Electric products and solutions in customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing comprehensive resolution to technical inquiries from customers, spanning from pre-sales (product selection, application information) to post-sales (troubleshooting, application assistance, product installation, technical characteristics, technical complaints, etc.), within set timeframes.
• Understanding, assessing, and replicating technical queries in the laboratory to identify root causes and communicating validated solutions to customers.
• Developing and maintaining a knowledgebase of validated solutions in the SE repository.
• Planning and conducting technical training for various stakeholders.
• Conducting onsite interventions to address critical issues during and after execution of the customer projects.
Core Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in the installation, service, and commissioning of Building Management Systems.
• Proficient in resolving customer technical issues related to various systems including EcoStruxure Building Operation (BMS Automation Tool), EcoStruxure Security Expert (Access Control/Intrusion Software), EcoStruxure Fire Operation (Fire Alarm System),AS-P Controllers(BMS Controller), Andover Continuum, TAC Vista and HVAC Sensors and Actuators.
• Proficient in resolving customer technical issues related to various Energy Management Software's like EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert, EcoStruxure Power Operation SCADA, and Communication Gateways (ComX510, Link150, ION setup), as well as metering product communication remotely.
• Sound knowledge of building management system protocols such as BACnet, Lon Works, EWS, Modbus, OPC, Modbus TCP/IP RIO, CAN Open, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, MSTP and Client Server Architecture.
• Providing support for product installation and issue resolution on BMS Servers, EBO, Smart X Server/Controller, HVAC sensors, and Access Control systems.
• Offering customer support for internal/external diagnosis of reported issues/bugs.
• Proficiency in DDC programming in different platforms like FBD, Script, and ladder diagram programming.
• Familiarity with theoretical and practical aspects of building automation regulations and codes related to air conditioning and management of air and water plants across different geographies.
• Exposure to HVAC domain systems and applications such as Air Handling Units, Chiller/Boiler Systems, Variable Air Volume Boxes, and ability to engineer turnkey solutions around them.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, system network architecture, BOM, panel layout, interlock wiring, interconnection, and wiring diagrams.
• Well-versed in the latest trends in the BMS market and capable of recommending superior solutions/alternatives to stakeholders.
• Understanding of Industrial UPS , APC product line and secure power is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and ability to interact with global customers.
• Strong problem-solving and data analytical approach.
• Excellent team player.
