Schneider Electric is looking for a Building Automation Field Service Manager in the Franklin, TN area.

As a Field Service Manager (FSM), you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our service operations and be the local face of Schneider Electric. Reporting to the Branch Service Operations Manager, you'll ensure our projects and work orders meet the unique needs of our clients while upholding our global standards of excellence.

As an FSM, your primary goal is to foster a safe and productive work environment for our technicians, elevate customer satisfaction, and enhance employee engagement. You'll embody our core values as you manage productivity, control costs, and improve operational efficiency. Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be established to help you measure success in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead with Impact: Directly manage Field Service Technicians and serve our customers within a designated geographic area.
  • Field Presence: Spend 50% of your time in the field engaging with technicians, customers, vendors, and sales personnel to ensure seamless operations.
  • Safety First: Conduct monthly safety meetings and perform site audits to ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with Scheduling, Logistics, Technical Support, Engineering, and Sales to optimize team performance and resource utilization.
  • Empower Your Team: Develop and implement comprehensive training plans to ensure technicians are well-versed in Schneider Electric's culture and policies.

  • 7+ years in the industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role or overseeing project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and security systems, along with safety and commissioning best practices, sets you apart.
  • Customer service skills and have a proven track record of developing and mentoring teams.
  • Experince in Management for you will interview, hire, train, and evaluate field personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies.
