Schneider Electric is looking for a Building Automation Commissioning Technicion for the Franklin, TN area.
Join our team as a Building Automation Commissioning Technician, where you will play a crucial role in estimating, tracking, starting up, and commissioning projects. You will serve as the primary customer interface for all technical requirements of assigned projects, providing your expertise throughout the project lifecycle on customer sites. Your contributions will lead to efficient project execution, satisfied clients, and optimized long-term performance of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions, utilizing extensive knowledge of electronic and digital control systems.
- Implement databases, control sequences, programs, and graphics for both new construction and retrofit projects.
- Provide start-up and checkout documentation to the installation team for commissioning and validation.
- Organize and demonstrate required BAS project sequences to meet commissioning agents' requirements.
- Commission control installations and verify that sequences align with specifications.
- Create sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and as-built drawings.
- Analyze plans, specifications, and contract details to determine system requirements.
- Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects and track resources and progress.
- Troubleshoot issues, including debugging software and diagnosing electrical or pneumatic installation problems.
- Organize and maintain job documentation effectively.
- Provide on-site assistance with programming, start-up, checkout, commissioning, and validation processes.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in the installation and/or maintenance of Building Automation Systems (HVAC) or technical experience in construction, elevator, electrical/mechanical, lighting, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure BAS is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking ownership of all tasks.
- Ability to work in diverse environments around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, above ceilings, and in varying weather conditions; and using hand tools, laptops, email, smartphones, and tablets.
- Capability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
