Based in regional Victoria, we are looking for a Service Technician to join our team to support our BMS and Security offerings provided in Mildura and surrounding areas. We currently service sites within the following industries;

Whilst not essential, this role will be perfect for someone that has prior BMS experience. However, all applicants that meet the below criteria will be considered and all training requirements will be provided.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to;
  • Performing Preventative and Reactive Maintenance on Building Management and Power Monitoring Systems
  • Responding to system breakdowns and faults
  • Liaising directly with colleagues, customers and customer representatives
  • Providing customers with suggestions for system improvements, enhancements, and optimisation opportunities
  • Practicing a high degree of safety awareness, to ensure safety requirements are always met
  • Participate in a rotating on-call roster
  • Potential after hours and weekend work from time to time to meet specific customer requirements
  • Delivering projects and assisting the projects team with onsite commissioning and testing

Who are you?
  • You are someone with a trade background in Mechanical, Refrigeration and/or Electrical
  • Unrestricted or restricted electrical license preferred but not required
  • You are someone that has a drive for quality and can provide quality service to our customers
  • You are someone who is customer-centric with a "can-do" and "customer first" attitude
  • You are someone that has a desire for learning and will embrace our ethos of continuous development
  • You are a person who has a passion for learning new systems and ways of working
  • You have or will be willing and able to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance and working rights in Australia

An understanding of building automation, HVAC experience & proven knowledge of Basic IT skills, will be highly regarded, additionally a current A or B class electrical license will be desirable. There is additionally an opportunity over time to be cross trained across all of Schneider products including, but not limited to, security, UPS's, power metering and energy monitoring.
