Join our dynamic team in the vibrant city of Charlotte, where innovation meets opportunity! As a Building Automation Technician, you'll play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge Building Automation System projects that enhance efficiency and comfort in various facilities.

What will you do?

  • Set up databases, control sequences, software, and graphics for new and retrofit projects.
  • Ensure that all work meets project specifications.
  • Test and confirm that control systems are working correctly.
  • Complete reports to show that controls have been verified.
  • Document installations for final control drawings.
  • Demonstrate project sequences to meet requirements.
  • Act as a direct contact for customers, representing the company.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Experience in the HVAC controls industry, with skills in troubleshooting and maintenance is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with commissioning and programming DDC controls.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
  • Skill in writing code for controller operations.
  • Familiarity with integration protocols (like Bacnet, Lonworks, Modbus, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A customer-focused attitude and a team player mentality.
