Associate Category Manager

Associate Category Manager Location: CDMX Plant, Schneider Electric

• What Will You Do?
  As an Associate Category Manager, you will be a key player in defining and executing the category strategy for the North America region. You will work closely with manufacturing plants, cross-functional stakeholders, and the Procurement team to ensure our suppliers are Best in Class, meeting current and future business needs and technological evolutions. Your mission will be to ensure the best Quality, Cost, and Delivery conditions for supplying Labels, Packaging, and Fasteners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for Electronic Categories.
• Maintain and strengthen commercial relationships with suppliers, conducting regular Business Reviews and leading annual negotiations.
• Identify opportunities and create a pipeline supporting Supply Base Optimization goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Procurement initiatives.
• Pursue systematic TCO reductions and value enhancements to drive cost savings and performance improvement.

Qualifications

What Qualifications Will Make You Successful?

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical/Industrial/Electronics Engineering.
• Master's degree in Business or related field, a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven and relevant experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with electronic categories.
• Project Management experience desired.
• Proven experience in successful Procurement supplier negotiations.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in using Procurement tools and processes.
