The Assistant Marketing Communication Manager / Marketing Communication Manager plays a strategic role in promoting Schneider Electric's brand, thought leadership and supporting Hong Kong business growth through brand management, event management, PR and communications , and other assigned projects . The role also needs to support the supervisor to execute comprehensive PR, communications and customer story programs.

• Act as a brand guardian to maintain brand integrity across all company integrated marketing communications initiatives to drive brand awareness and deliver on business goals.
• Work closely with the team to achieve one innovation experience through owned and sponsored events, innovation hub and showroom, and other touchpoints.
• Assist to develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies, support the team on PR and external communications programs to build thought leadership.
• Responsible for key messaging and announcements to external stakeholders, media, and public via media pitches/ interviews, press releases, press briefings, and prepare briefing notes, Q&As, speeches, and presentations, etc.
• Assist, develop and execute brand campaigns that highlight the customer success stories, promote thought leadership, and reinforce our leading position in sustainability and digitization, leveraging different marketing tactics such as video content, paid media promotion and social media to maximize the reach.
• Proactively seek brand exposure opportunities to increase brand visibility and reinforce brand positioning through speaking opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience Required
• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Economics, or business-related disciplines
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years (for Assistant Manager) / 8 - 10 years (for Manager) of working experience in marketing communications for multi-national corporations, with a deep understanding of all aspects of event management, PR and communications.
• Proven track record of event management, PR, communications, and brand building. Basic knowledge in digital marketing is an advantage.
• Work experience in a multi-national and cross-functional work environment ; ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously .
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ideally with experience working with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Chinese, and Mandarin is preferred.
• Candidates with less experience but high potential will also be considered.
