For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $92,700 - $120,900 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What will you do?
Design and commission automation control applications using EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly known as Unity Pro) logic applications and write Sequence of Operations (SOO) documents to control building process automation (BMS) at customer data centers.
Technical Skills:
- Develop building process control logic in EcoStruxure Control Expert (formerly known as Unity Pro) for M580 HSBY PACs using Customer Design Standards, Derived Data Type (DDT) Lists, standard library of Derived Function Block (DFBs), and Sequence of Operations (SOOs).
- Clear communication skills to be able to collaborate with design team and follow directions of lead engineers.
- "C++," Visual Basic"
- Logic Design (Structured Text, Ladder, DFBs, DDTs, Boolean)
- Controls and Connectivity (PACs, Industrial networks, Ethernet Networks)
- Field Devices (Computers, M580 PAC, M580 HSBY, HMIs, Sensors, etc.)
- Electrical and Control Drawings (field I/O, power distribution, etc.)
- Writing proficiency
- P&ID Loop Control and Tuning
- Familiarity with SCADA and/or HMI platforms
- Update DDT lists based on final SOO and logic development.
- Design applications using the standard DFBs as building blocks using existing Customer applications as templates for the program structure.
- Attend internal and customer design meetings to review programs and SOO documents.
- Collaborate and succeed within a diverse global team.
- Understand and be able to explain data structures, logic structures, and DFBs developed for program wide use.
- Ensure adherence to Project Playbook and Version Control Processes
- Change management and rev control
- Use QA/QC tools and processes.
Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites (approximately 30%)

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and commissioning PLC/Process Automation applications, especially with Schneider Electric products.
- Familiarity with writing industrial control applications.
- Experience with industry standard communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Modbus TCP/IP and Ethernet IP, BACnet.
- Familiarity with integrating devices from multiple vendors into a packaged solution.
- Familiarity with Industrial and Building Management System applications.
- Knowledgeable in computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware.
- Knowledgeable in computer programming languages (VB, C#, C++).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems and software applications.
- Familiar with change management and rev control.
- Familiarity with writing and using Test Scripts.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively alone and in a group setting, collaborative, initiative-taking, and results driven.
