For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. SCADA Application Engineer

Remote position (up to 20% travel)

Position Overview: As a SCADA Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in engineering SCADA systems to monitor and control electrical power distribution systems (EPMS). From consulting with customers to system configuration, commissioning, and customer training, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional SCADA solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with customers to determine system operational requirements
  • Configure and commission SCADA Systems
  • Develop graphical screens and databases
  • Verify electrical one-line drawings
  • Troubleshoot and commission SCADA systems
  • Provide customer training for commissioned SCADA systems
  • Support the extended project team from kickoff to closeout
  • Travel approximately 20% to customer sites

Essential Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of SCADA development, installation, configuration, and commissioning experience
  • Must have experience with Wonderware OR Aveva OR "Inductive Automation" OR Citect OR Ignition
  • Proficiency in Python, C#, C++, Cicode, or JavaScript
  • Database experience (MS-SQL)
  • Familiarity with communication protocols and interfaces such as Modbus, Modbus TCP, BACnet, and IEC 61850
  • Development of software standards for modular, scalable, reusable solutions
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20%


Desired Qualifications:
  • System integrator experience
  • HMI / SCADA development experience, including graphical screen development
  • HTML development experience
  • Exposure/familiarity with electrical power generation and distribution
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as NEC, UL, ISO, and IEEE
  • Experience with Inductive Automation "Ignition" software
