Application Design Engineer Intern

Schneider Electric is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Application Design Engineer Intern to join our team in Raleigh, NC, for Spring or Summer 2025. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our cutting-edge EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE) platform, helping customers optimize their applications and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Demonstrate how EAE features and functionalities can assist customers with their applications and projects.
  • Workshops: Facilitate workshops to promote EAE features and functions, ensuring customers understand how to design, organize, and execute code on the EAE platform.
  • Performance Testing: Implement and test customer architectures to demonstrate performance and mitigate risks, including on-site support for customers and our sales teams as needed.
  • Library Development: Develop key library elements (CATs) to support customer projects, ensuring ease of use and customer satisfaction with EAE.
  • Project Execution: Support customer project execution and guide customers through the implementation phase, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Feedback Loop: Maintain a consistent feedback loop with the global EAE development team, acting as the voice of the customer for your region.
  • Training: Support, develop, and train System Integrators in the region to become execution partners on EAE.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in automation technologies and software development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
