We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Containerization for enabling GitOps applications on internal VPC cloud provider for Global applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing robust DevSecOps practices, enabling seamless integration and deployment of applications. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for automation, scalability, observability and efficiency in software development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuous Delivery:

o Defining the version control system branching strategy for the delivery and provisioning of the applications on targeted environments
Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines automated with GitHub Actions.

o Ensure automated build, test, and deployment processes are robust, reliable, and scalable.

o Proven track record of automating workflows and optimizing system performance

o Collaborate with development (DEV) and operations (OPS) teams to streamline the delivery of software to production while ensuring security versions are deploying (SEC)

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

o Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using enabling technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

o Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code is essential

o Implement and manage scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure.

o Ensure infrastructure is version-controlled, tested, and compliant with security standards.

Containerization:

o Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker, Kubernetes container orchestration enabling technologies.

o Manage and optimize containerized applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues in containerized environments.

Skills and Competences

Collaboration and Mentorship :

o Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

o Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices are followed.

o Able to work in a truly global environment

Skills:

o 12-15 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years in DevOps or related roles.

o Proven experience in working on GitHub for tracking version control

o Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines

o Experience working on with Git technology and understanding of Git branching strategies.

o Desirable experience on GitHub, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD technologies

o Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

o Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), or OpenShift.

o Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

o Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure management.

o Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

o Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

o Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

o Experience working on integrated DevSecOps tool chain ecosystem (GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube)

o Experience working on High Availability architecture environments

Preferred Qualifications:

o Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

o Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
