Accounting Transformation Manager

Schneider Electric is recruiting for an Accounting Transformation Manager in Nashville, TN; Boston, MA or Dallas, TX.

As an Accounting Transformation Manager, you will lead and support entities in the implementation of S4 HANA through business transformation and adoption of processes throughout preparation, exploration, deployment and hypercare periods. Ensure Best of Breed Applications are deployed and adopted. Ensure effective and compliant end to end processes are in place.

What will you do?

  • Create and maintain the business pre-requisites on sites in order to optimize and secure the deployment process
  • Support and follow up site preparation (Journey to readiness) activities
  • Challenge and support the business transformation with site management and ensure implementation of Change Management actions
  • Strong collaboration with discipline leaders and BPOs
  • Bring process expertise to align the business with the process and solution
  • Accountable for and ensure implementation of business transformation jointly with the Site/Function Manager/Local Team
  • Lead End User trainings
  • Validate DTL (Domain Team Leader) / Key User appointments in the country or CoCe
  • Ensure operational coordination with Schneider Digital Deployment teams and the business
  • Arbitrate conflicts between Business requirements and Core Business Processes
  • Participate in site Acceptance meeting at the end of foundation phase
  • Actively drive User Acceptance Tests
  • Secure Go-Live phase on Business side, including Cutover Strategy
  • Provide the Post Go-Live support
  • Capitalize on project's best practices with regards to Deployment Methodology
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration on building and delivering the plan and roadmap

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • 7+ years of experience in accounting with a public accounting background
  • Transformational and Agile mindset, ability to learn fast
  • Strong functional expertise (RTR, OTC, PTP, Intercompany or at least one of these areas)
  • Project management experience
  • CPA/CMA preferrable or equivalent experience
  • Well organized and able to prioritize
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams in an international environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Autonomy
  • Strong knowledge in MS Excel, SAP (FI & CO modules), Financial reporting
  • English (fluency mandatory)
