Accountant

For our finance team in Bratislava, as part of our group finance, we are looking for an experienced Accountant

What will be the main tasks?

  • Coordinating the process of Intra Group recharges in the legal entity in cooperation with Business Finance (BF) and Accounting Shared Service Center (ASSC),
  • Calculating and posting accruals for standard costs (i.e. media, transport, other services and Intra Group charges),
  • Calculating and posting inventory and warranty provision in cooperation with business finance,
  • Preparing and postings journals related to salaries (e.g. deduction)
  • Preparing balance sheet accounts reconciliations in Blackline,
  • Being the point of contact for Accounting Shared Service Center with regards to the group reporting in HFM,
  • Participating in statutory audit,
  • Providing support for Entity Chief Accountant for month end closing and ad-hoc tasks,
  • Support in VAT reporting by registers and tax returns preparation, and performing sanity checks,
  • Support in WHT calculation,
  • Preparing reports to statistical office and national bank,
  • Preparing ad-hoc analysis and reports due to the current need,
  • Communicating with the vendors in relation to invoice issues,
  • Cooperating with ASSC, other finance functions and other departments in the entity,
  • Supporting finance transformation and standardization initiatives,
  • Participating in group projects implementation,

  • Responsibility for Fixed assets (providing FA inventory, decision about depr.area and depr. class, support with registration in SAP, review of Assets under construction),

What will help you to be successful?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • 3-5 years' experience as full scope accountant
  • International company experience is advantage
  • Good knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in Slovakia
  • Fluent Slovak and communicative knowledge of English is a must
  • Good MS Office knowledge, especially: Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
  • Knowledge of SAP, Blackline, HFM, would be an advantage,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
