Schneider Electric Canada has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate/motivated individual to assume the role of Account Manager - Retail. This role within our Home & Commercial Solutions Business Division will be focused on managing and growing critical accounts.
What will you do?
In this national role, you will:
- Develop and execute a Strategic Account Plan for the Territory and manage on-going
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships at all levels within the Territory Accounts organization
- Develop trusted advisor relationships within the account including customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements and establishing a timeline of performance
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast, analyze customer data and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and present the progress on a quarterly basis
- Prepare and maintain on-going a detailed Account Plan for each of the Territory Accounts
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

- 8+ years of proven work experience with a large national retail client (Rona, BMR, or similar) as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or other equivalent role
- Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Ability to excel within a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to travel about 50% of the time nationally and sometimes internationally
- Functional knowledge of English and French is required. Must be able to work with stakeholders located in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
