Reporting to the Head of S2P Delivery, the Vendor Master Data Management Analyst plays a critical role in driving the effective management and governance of vendor master data ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the source-to-pay process.
Main responsibilities
- Leading High Performance Team. Lead the team to ensure efficient, high quality, compliant and on time delivery of services, in adherence to core model and work closely with stakeholders outside Procurement Services to drive the adherence to core model.
- Data Governance: Following the Core model, maintain robust processes for the governance and integrity of vendor master data.
- Data Quality Management: Monitor and enhance data quality, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in the vendor master database.
- Vendor Onboarding & Modification: Collaborate with business and procurement teams to facilitate the onboarding & modification of new vendors, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data. Ensure awareness of Business functions of processes for Vendor Creation/modification.
- Compliance: Enforce compliance with data standards, policies, and regulations related to vendor master data management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains in vendor master data management and feedback to Business process owner.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on the status and quality of vendor master data, providing insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve vendor creation/modification and vendor data-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address root causes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment to Core vendor master data processes and broader organizational objectives.
About you
- Experience: Experience in data management, vendor master data, or a similar role. Experience in direct people management responsibilities including staff training, assessment and development (Added Advantage).Familiarity with procurement processes and source-to-pay operations. Experience with data management platforms and technologies.
- Soft and Technical skill: Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. Proficient in data management tools and systems.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data quality. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional areas.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Data Management, or a related field.
- Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
