Join our global Resource & Demand Planning Vaccines organisation as Global Transversal Operations Team Lead and you will be responsible for leading a regionally based Project and Resource management team ensuring that the projects and CTD planning activities, as well as Headcount management and operational & resource planning activities assigned to your team are completed according to agreed ways of working, processes, timelines, and quality/performance target

Main responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of Project planners, CTD planners, Operational & Resource planners and Vaccine Headcount managers, ensuring the training, mentoring, engagement, development, and recognition of the team members to maximize their potential, performance, and overall success including performance review and development dialogue.
  • Act as the Vaccines Project and Resource management point of accountability for the execution of related activities assigned to your team.
  • Assist the R&D Operational planning &Resource management (OPRM) and Global Project Management (GPM) heads with resource optimization based on the workload of related activities.
  • Drive and supporting your team planning and delivering strong quality outputs in project / CTD planning as well as Operational & Resource planning and Headcount management.
  • Participating in Headcount management community, Planning & Resource Committee and specific project management meetings to ensure global harmonization of ways of working and optimization of operational processes and standards.
  • Depending on your profile, you will also have an operational role either as an Headcount manager, Project planner or an Operational & Resource planner role.

About you


Experience:
  • Strong experience in planning management, as well as resource management.
  • Strong project management skills and experience. Anticipate delivery risks, bottlenecks, issues, and delays to proactively prevent them or minimize their impact.
  • Understanding of advanced vaccines development concepts.
Soft skills:
  • Learn and adapt quickly when facing new problems. Think critically and use rigorous, objective, and pragmatic methods to solve multidimensional problems with effective and timely solutions.
  • Effective leadership and people management skills. Harness a working environment which encourages teamwork, energy, and creativity.
  • Ability to rally a team behind the management vision and/or decisions to maintain a high level of engagement.
Technical skills:
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (Planisware is advantageous).
Education:
  • Master degree or above, preferably in a life science or drug development related field.
Languages:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, ability to exchange fluently in a global environment.
