Your job, as an Upstream Bioreactor Scientist - Vaccine within our MSAT Team, will do the laboratory work and will have hands-on experience with bioreactors.

Main Responsibilities:

The major/overall purpose of the job:
  • Secure reliable and sustainable supply.
  • Enable IA network and partnership development for market access expansion.
  • Foster innovative high-performance products and solutions to patients.

What:
  • A technical contributor to the Upstream Bioreactor Unit, supporting the design and execution of development and/or troubleshooting project and studies for the manufacturing and continuous improvement of bacterial and cell culture vaccines.
  • Leads problem solving where analysis of situations of defined scope or data requires in-depth evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Write protocols, reports, procedures, and memos as needed to support strain-change, comparability, development, and validation activities.
  • Lead/ support troubleshooting activities

About You

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's or Masters in basic sciences, math, engineering, or pharmacy. Candidate should possess educational and professional experience, commensurate with the position.
  • General bioreactor experience from 2L to 400L.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of scientific background
  • Good understanding of cell culture and bacterial work
