Our Team:

The Transparency Team manages the aggregation and disclosure of transfers of value that Sanofi makes to covered recipients (e.g., healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations, etc.) as required by applicable laws and regulations, with the goal of promoting more transparent relationships. The Team executes a centralized governance & reporting strategy to ensure Sanofi meets its transparency reporting obligations on behalf of all business units and Sanofi entities mitigating company risk and negative customer impact.

  • Manages the process of disclosing transfer of values to healthcare professionals and organizations, including the methodological notes and disclosure consent management for Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and supports Denmark.
    • Collects and performs quality reviews of the transparency data from various country source systems.
    • Resolves data discrepancies between source systems and the Global Transparency reporting system (MediSpend).
    • Resolves duplicate transactions.
    • Evaluates outlier data and manages necessary remediation.
    • Keeps transparency-related Vendor Master Data up to date.
    • Maintains country mappings in MediSpend.
    • Ensures audit readiness by maintaining accurate and complete documentation.
  • Manages the data collection of cross-border engagements with healthcare professionals or organizations for Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and supports Denmark.
  • Manages the resolution of transparency-related questions, complaints or disputes submitted by healthcare professionals or organizations, and resubmission if needed for Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and supports Denmark.
  • Serves primary internal point of contact for questions related to transparency regulations and operational procedures in Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and supports Denmark.
  • Helps to identify and implement innovative and/or adaptive approaches to optimize transparency processes and reduce or eliminate data errors.
  • Identifies data gaps, takes action to drive improvement, and informs supervisor of potential Company risk.
  • Chairs periodic meetings with country leadership teams to decide on national/local transparency matters and review Transparency metrics.
  • Collaborates with relevant internal stakeholders, such as Medical, Legal, Ethics & Business Integrity, Public Affairs and Business Excellence partners, etc. to monitor and analyse national/local changes in transparency-related regulations.
  • Provides updates/dashboard and statistics to country leadership independently.
  • Defines and upholds transparency reporting operating procedures for Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and supports Denmark.
  • Supports continuous improvement activities, standardization, and automation to ensure operational excellence for deliverable tracking, compliance with transparency regulations, and reporting.
  • Contributes to the development of and supports a global transparency core operating model.
  • Demonstrates Company values.

About you

  • Has experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent.
  • Has a good understanding of transparency regulations and laws in the targeted country/countries.
  • Has experience with transparency reporting.
  • Has experience with transparency data source systems (e.g. CRM, Concur, SAP, etc.) & system infrastructure.
  • Is able to work transversally across cultures, business units, support functions and countries.
  • Understands compliance requirements.
  • Plans, prioritizes and implements actions; project management.
  • Focuses on improvement and efficiency.

Soft and technical skills:

  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and maintain working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently to drive problem solving and process improvement.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Data analytics skills, including preforming data quality reviews.
  • Ensure audit readiness.

Education: Bachelors' degree at minimum, post-graduate degree is a plus

Languages: Business fluent in English
