This new Business Unit will enable the delivery of best-in-class business support capabilities across the organization, incorporating and engaging disparate teams from across areas such as R&D, M&S, the Corporate Functions and GBUs into new global Service Delivery Towers with initial services spanning Commercial, Finance, Procurement and People & Culture. Reporting to the Head of Procurement Risk Assurance, the Sustainability & Supplier Diversity Risk Team Lead plays a critical leadership role in assessing and managing risks associated with sustainability and supplier diversity initiatives. The incumbent manages & supports the development and execution of strategies to ensure sustainable and diverse supplier relationships align with Sanofi's business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Managerial leadership of analyst(s) to successfully deliver/execute end-to-end processes in accordance with Core Model processes & KPIs.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments related to sustainability and supplier diversity, evaluating potential environmental, social, and economic risks associated with suppliers.
- Sustainability and Supplier Diversity Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with internal and external sustainability and supplier diversity regulations, policies, and goals, collaborating with procurement teams to drive adherence and enhance controls across the E2E Procurement lifecycle.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with internal and external sustainability and supplier diversity regulations, policies, and goals. Collaborate with procurement teams to enhance controls across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to assess the impact of sustainability and supplier diversity initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on sustainability and supplier diversity risk factors, compliance metrics, and key performance indicators for stakeholders and leadership.
- Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sustainability, and supplier diversity teams to integrate risk management practices into the supplier relationship lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing sustainability and supplier diversity risk management processes, implementing best practices to drive positive outcomes.
About you:
- Experience: Relevant experience in risk management, sustainability, supplier diversity, or related roles. Experience in people management and development experience. Experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry. Familiarity with procurement processes and category management principles and global or international experience, with the ability to work with diverse teams is preferred.
- Soft skills & Technical skills: Familiarity with sustainability standards, supplier diversity regulations, and risk assessment methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Effective communication skills to convey complex risk insights. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to sustainability and supplier diversity. Experience using data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or equivalent). Ability to navigate and influence within a matrixed organizational structure. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Sustainability, or a related field. Certification in risk management, sustainability, or a related discipline (e.g., ISO 14001, CIPS) is preferred.
- Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
