As Statistical Programmer in our Sanofi Vaccines Scientific Programming team, you'll be a part of our Global Biostatistical Sciences department, where we partner with biostatisticians to manage the analysis and submission of our Vaccine trials. The Scientific Programming team primarily focuses on clinical trials, with some support to pre-clinical and non-clinical trials. We are a global team with colleagues and partners currently clustered largely in the USA, France, China, India, and Australia.
You will work within the Scientific Programming team to provide support to the analysis and management of our clinical trials and have the opportunity to significantly contribute to special projects that will revolutionize some of our key ways of working. Some examples include honing our resource estimation methodology, creating solutions to merge business and clinical trial data to simplify planning, and developing and maintaining data visualizations to move exploratory data analysis processes from a resource-heavy/output-dense approach to a dynamic, self-service, quickly available approach.

Main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions in the context of Translational and Clinical R&D.
- Design visualizations that give clear and accurate insights to end users.
- Develop data visualization to support primary and exploratory analysis of clinical trial data.
- Gather requirements from target end users and translate their business problems into technical solution.
- Evaluate existing standard programs to identify opportunities to simplify, add flexibility, or otherwise improve them, as well as research and evaluate methods to optimize program performance.
- Participate in transitioning statistical programming from a SAS-based to R-based platform.
About you
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of work experience co-relating to the position's responsibilities.
Soft and technical skills:
- R programming experience, Shiny is a plus.
- Understanding of clinical and research data.
- Demonstrated growth mindset that includes embracing change, learning from mistakes and challenges, innovating, motivation, and teamwork in a global team.
- Curious, analytical, proactive team member who seeks opportunities to learn and contribute.
- Enjoy playing with data to extract scientific evidences.
Education:
- Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
Languages:
- Effective oral and written communication skills in an English global environment and ability to have efficient exchanges with partners and colleagues across geographic locations.
