You will be responsible for crafting and driving primary research in conjunction with external partners, synthesizing and reporting key research findings, and making recommendations to support business strategies and decision making that drive brand growth.

Main responsibilities:

As a consumer insight lead working for Opella N.A., you will be an integral member of a cross-functional team supporting our Allergy brands: Allegra, Xyzal, and Nasacort. You will act as a strategic advisor, aligning with decision makers to leverage insights as a competitive advantage. You will harness digital agility and creativity to craft the consumer narrative, seamlessly integrating multiple insights. You will embrace an agile mindset, champion the voice of the consumer in our N.A. strategy, and drive brand love through an 'insights to action' approach.
  • Drive Consumer-Centric Focus: Advocate for a consumer-first mindset across teams, ensuring insights-driven decision-making that places consumers, shoppers, and healthcare professionals at the core of business strategies.
  • Deliver Growth Ambition: Advise brand marketing teams, collaborating with R&D, analytics, digital, and sales to develop research plans that align with business objectives and drive growth. Monitor brand health and maintain a deep understanding of category trends and competitive understanding to guide strategic decisions.
  • Digital Insights Leadership: Lead initiatives leveraging digital-first audience insights, including social media feedback, to inform the consumer journey, creative development, and innovation. Use AI tools to enhance consumer insights and improve processes.
  • Efficient Research Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key business questions and develop consumer learning plans. Manage high-quality, cost-effective custom research, and Synthesize data across multiple sources into actionable insights.
  • Local Advocacy for Global & Local Brands: Represent North American consumer insights, supporting both global and local teams. Collaborate with global counterparts for brands led on a global scale.

About you
  • 7+ Years Experience in Insights & Analytics: Proven background in consumer healthcare, FMCG, beauty/luxury, technology, or similar sectors, with preferred experience working with global brands.
  • Strategic Insight Synthesis: Strong ability to synthesize diverse research sources into actionable insights that inform organizational decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Skilled in conveying insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions with clarity and impact.
  • Business Acumen: Expertise in translating complex data into compelling narratives tailored to various audiences, combining strategic insights with business acumen.
  • Proactive & Collaborative Mindset: Focused on driving strategic outcomes through influence, collaboration, and organizational savvy, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Consumer Insights Expertise: Deep passion for understanding consumer behavior, with specialized knowledge in consumer insights methodologies to guide data-driven decisions.
  • Global & Digital Fluency: Comfortable working in diverse, multicultural environments and familiar with digital-first brand-building strategies, including brand positioning, creative development, and innovation.
