Your job, as Site Manufacturing Head within our M&S Team, will be to lead the implementation and maintenance of a robust and efficient manufacturing system that meets the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity. Ensure the delivery of quality product, in the required quantity and on time for the vaccination campaign. Apply the Integrated Quality Management System in accordance with its functions and responsibilities described in the manual, procedures and applicable documents.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage assigned resources; personnel, facilities and equipment for manufacturing with the objective of aligning them to production plans, maintaining the plant cycle according to the requirements of the supply chain and within the established cost levels; as well as complying with the responsibilities indicated in NOM-059-SSA1.
• Lead a multidisciplinary work team (quality, safety, engineering, supply chain) that joins efforts to fulfil the production plans and ensure the achievement of the objectives reflected in the site performance indicators aligned to the global ones.
• Define budgets for investments and operating expenses. Contribute to the master plan of the site where growth or operational improvements are established to ensure the continuity of the operation, with a minimum horizon of 5 years.
• Implement the Sanofi Manufacturing System in the areas under their responsibility, taking into consideration the following points:
• Promote Azteca's organizational culture, aligned to policies, leadership practices, diversity and inclusion, play to win behaviors; modeling an example of commitment, motivating the team and facilitating resources to support the implementation of the initiatives.
• Identify, evaluate and control Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) setting high standards, involving the work team in their activities or processes; to deliver the product according to quality standards.

About you

• Experience: Strong experience in a managerial position in the pharmaceutical industry managing manufacturing areas and desirable in the quality area. Experience in parenteral or sterile production.
• Soft and technical skills:
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical technology
  • Production processes, product formulation, aseptic filling and sterility assurance, visual inspection of parenteral product packaging.
  • Knowledge of applicable sanitary regulations
  • Skills in leadership, communication, negotiation and working under pressure. Strategic thinking and results oriented
• Education: Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical, chemistry, biochemistry and/or biotechnology. Postgraduate studies desirable
• Languages: Advanced Proficiency in English and Spanish
