This new Business Unit will enable the delivery of best-in-class business support capabilities across the organization, incorporating and engaging disparate teams from across areas such as R&D, M&S, the Corporate Functions and GBUs into new global Service Delivery Towers with initial services spanning Commercial, Finance, Procurement and People & Culture.

Reporting to the Head of Service & Portfolio Management, the Service Analyst, plays a critical role in the development, execution, and transformation of Sanofi's Procurement Services Strategies. In their role, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the strategic planning and performance management across the service towers, including the management of the towers strategic outsourced provider.

Main Responsibilities

  • BPO Relationship and Support Management: Oversee and support the BPO relationship as it goes through a strategic reset acting as a proactive change agent, driving innovation and improvements in outsourced activities to maximize value and align outsourced efforts with organizational goals. Additionally, manage the system access, POs, and contractual matters (e.g., change requests, contract amendments and any contractual changes).
  • Performance Tracking and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by contributing to the One Procurement scorecard and optimizing processes, compliance, and controls. Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance insights, streamline procedures, and ensure tools and technologies align with industry best practices. Conduct regular assessments to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to interpret complex data, delivering actionable insights that drive process optimization. Support ongoing and ad-hoc reporting needs (monthly, quarterly, and as required) for Business Operations and GPS by collaborating closely with Insights & Productivity analysts to ensure data accuracy, relevance, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Opportunity and Initiative Identification: Proactively identify, evaluate, and recommend efficiency improvements across all aspects of GPS and the larger One Procurement community. Leverage data insights to pinpoint opportunities for operational enhancements that align with organizational goals, driving sustainable improvements and increased productivity.
  • Project Support and Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support the planning, coordination, and execution of GPS service tower initiatives. Promote service line delivery performance through effective communication channels and deliver comprehensive overviews of project portfolios. Collaborate with One Procurement communication teams to highlight GPS mission, strategic priorities, and successful outcomes across the organization.
  • Learning & Development Support: Champion the growth of the One Procurement organization by advancing the development and delivery of learning programs that promote continuous improvement and skill enhancement. Assist in curating learning pathways that align with organizational priorities, fostering an environment of continuous professional growth.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis and Project Support: Provide flexible, ad hoc analytical and project support across teams, delivering data-driven recommendations to support decision-making and ensure successful project outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements, manage project execution, and contribute valuable insights that advance organizational objectives.

About You

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Operations Management, Finance, Operations Research, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics, process optimization, operations management, procurement or a similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective collaborator with strong trust-building, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Impact-oriented with strong analytical, structuring, problem-solving, and strategic capabilities to innovate, design and execute a plan.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed international environment.

Preferred:
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and industry-specific productivity metrics.
  • Experience in the procurement or supply chain domain.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to leverage a natural intellectual curiosity.
