Ready to get started? The Senior Manager North America (NA) Security - Operations - MA will report to the Director of NA Security Operations. The area of responsibility for this position will be the greater MA area. This position will utilize subject matter expertise to operationalize and contribute to the continued growth and adaptability of Sanofi's Security programs; manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs, as well as ensuring consistency and compatibility across all Global Business Units and Functions located in NA; participate and lead cross-functional working groups and workshops in support of the programs; manage employees or partnered services who are engaged in operations; contribute to strategic objectives and long-range goals; prepare and/or contribute to annual security threat briefings; this position requires a network of federal/state or local intelligence, and law enforcement entities.

Main Responsibilities:
- Implement the NA Security strategy and provide operational leadership for a holistic, scalable, and centralized capability to address any operational degradation of Sanofi resources or capabilities.
- Conduct non-product investigations and provide training and off-hours response.
- Review, create, and approve Security post orders and maintain Security records.
- Ensure enforcement of site traffic regulations.
- Manage contracted manned guarding service and budget within the area of responsibility.
- Advance the Global Security people, asset program, hostile intruder and asset recovery program.
- Ensure global and regional key performance indicators are met.
- Identify critical assets and levels of exposure.
- Advance awareness of risks associated with Sanofi's people, information, and products.
- Provide a coordinated, cross-functional platform to deter, detect, and mitigate threats as well as negligent or inadvertent risk behavior.
- Contribute to overall Security objectives by supporting a Security culture.
- Conduct complex trans-national investigations, including documentation review and victim/witness interviews.
- Collaborate with internal and external entities.
- Initiate investigative action plans and fully document investigative steps and accomplishments.
- Collaborate with other functions and business units to recommend and promote efficient solutions or alternatives to complex issues.
About you
- Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a global environment.
- 15+ years of demonstrated progressive leadership and operational experience within the private sector or government.
- Demonstrated investigative success.
- Demonstrated ability to assess progress made against projects, financial targets, and policy implementations to reach team goals.
- Demonstrated ability to use advanced knowledge of specialized/functional areas to propose continuous improvements to deliver efficiency gains.
- Experience developing and executing security-related programs at the leadership level.
- Proven ability to lead change, collaborate, and be part of a high-performance culture.
- Superior communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally, domestically, and internationally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle discreet areas of responsibility.
- Threat assessment experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (specifically Canada), at times on short notice.
- Sound judgment and commitment to ethical conduct.
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and other standard corporate software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Corporate security experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience supporting BARDA, CTPAT, and TSA security programs.
