Main responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement new ways of working to transform Sanofi's controls for Sales, Industrial Costing, Opex, and CAPEX.
  • Manage operational controlling activities for sales/gross to net, industrial costing, and operating/capital expenses.
  • Partner with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to support Business Leaders and ensure accurate, timely monthly closing, sharing results with FBPs and Budget Owners.
  • Prepare monthly commentary on variances, develop Opex and headcount forecasts, and ensure execution of budgeted plans.
  • Oversee project management, ensuring timely capitalization and compliance with Sanofi methods and procedures.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, track headcount, budget assumptions, and approve project spending.
  • Promote efficiencies, ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls, and support finance initiatives and ad hoc projects.

About you
  • 3+ years of diversified financial controlling experience.
  • Build partnerships across business levels, influencing and shaping decisions.
  • Operate with high attention to detail under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Lead through influence, manage projects, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Develop rapport with stakeholders and work effectively across international teams.
  • Adapt to complex matrix environments and act as a change agent to drive improvements.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-lookups, and macros.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and technology proficiency across multiple systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or any related field is required.

Preferred:
  • MBA and/or CPA.
  • Pharmaceutical and public accounting experience.
  • Commercial Finance and Gross to Net.
  • TM1 and SAP experience.
