Main Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Execution: Lead the strategy and execution of the Cardiovascular prioritized portfolio, focusing on Praluent business objectives.
- Product Vision and User Stories: Define the product vision, prioritize user stories, and execute initiatives to validate hypotheses.
- Collaboration: Collaborate across functions within Commercial and with global teams to maximize value for patients, customers, and Sanofi.
- Insight Gathering: Gather insights from internal teams, public and internal data, and stakeholder interactions to inform decision-making and product improvements.
- Forecasting and Budget Management: Responsible for forecasting, financial forecasts/budgets input, demand/supply management, and expense management for the therapeutic area.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement using new ways of working, digital tools, and external data-driven insights.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES FOR THIS JOB
- Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and execute Cardiovascular strategies and tactics through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Medical, Policy and Market Access, Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and others.
- Global Collaboration: Partner with global teams to support the brand vision for Praluent and the overall vision for General Medicines and North American markets.
- Launch Management: Achieve launch targets for Praluent line extensions and manage expense budgets to maximize product uptake.
- Market Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of market and competitive dynamics to anticipate and address opportunities and risks.
- Agile Working: Adopt agile ways of working to maximize customer satisfaction, progress, and return on investment.
- Omnichannel Strategy Execution: Execute the Omnichannel strategy for Praluent, making smart investment decisions for maximum ROI.
- Persona-Based Messaging: Co-create persona-based messaging and journeys for targeted, precise customer engagement.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use data-driven insights for forward-looking strategies, predictive execution, informed decision-making, and impact measurement.
- Digital Tools Utilization: Leverage digital tools for personalized and targeted customer engagement and efficient working methods.
- Financial Forecasts Management: Ensure clear understanding and management of financial forecasts, coordinating with BO&S, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Investment Maximization: Prioritize the utilization of global tools, data, and insights, and implement an agile approach for local adaptation when needed.
About You
Key Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA or graduate degree a plus
Experience
- Minimum 5 years commercial experience in pharmaceutical marketing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical marketing in the Canadian market.
- Technical marketing skills (needs, segmentation, SWOT analyses, creation of competitive strategies, risk assessment) and stay abreast of new marketing trends.
- Direct experience with external customers and stakeholders an asset.
- Key account management experience an asset.
- Experience with digital tools, social media, virtual customer engagement and omnichannel.
- Working knowledge of reimbursement on provincial and private payer level.
- Experience working in an Agile team preferred.
