iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

Join our Microbiology and Virology team as Scientist VIE and you'll Test Method Development, Test Method Validation, Test Method Transfer, and support projects.

Main responsibilities:
  • Support development of new or improved test methods for new and licensed vaccine entity characterization, stability testing and release, understand requirements for test methods and project milestones by interacting with analytical working groups and Platform directors, maintain GxP (good manufacturing practice) compliance, where required, in all testing programs, and review and approve test method technical reports.
  • Validate analytical test methods in support of release and stability testing. Write, review, approve and execute validation protocols and approve validation reports, and present results to working groups and platform director.
  • Support the transfer of analytical test methods in support of release and stability testing into receiving departments and the training of analysts.
  • Participate and contribute to analytical working groups as required to support project milestones.
  • Review scientific literature for application to vaccine development and characterization and make recommendations, contribute to development of new platform technologies, support communication of research findings to the scientific community and to Senior Management.

About you

Experience:
  • Relevant experience in Virology and/or Microbiology for minimum 1 year is preferred.
  • Specific experience in the development of new virological, microbiological, biochemical and immunochemical characterization methods for biomolecules/vaccines.
  • Experience in maintaining laboratories and equipment in cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and/or GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) compliance.

Soft and technical skills:
  • Proven verbal and written communication, organizational and team skills.
  • Knowledge of basic Microbiological and Virological techniques, Cell Culture, growth of bacteria and viruses.
  • Familiar with a broad range of analytical instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with testing in compliance with current regulations is preferred.
Education:
  • Master's Degree in Microbiology, Virology or similar.
Languages:
  • Knowledge of English & French language.
