About the Role

Join our newly establishedReal Estate, Workplace Experience, and Record Information Management (RE & Wx & RIM)team, responsible for managing Opella's global locations and services. Our mission is to drivereal estateandworkplace innovationthat fosters an inspiring, efficient, and safe environment for theConsumer Healthcare Business Unit.

As theRegional Facilities and Workspace Leadfor theEastern Europe Region, you will be responsible for themanagement and coordinationof multiple Opella sites. With a strong focus onexternal supplier managementandfacilities operations, you will ensure a high-quality workplace experience for over 400 employees and guests. You'll collaborate closely with local management and global function managers, while reporting directly to theGlobal Site Head Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • External Supplier & Facilities Management:
    • Negotiate and manage contractswith external service providers(IFM), ensuring the delivery of essential services such ascleaning,security,maintenance, andcateringacross all sites.
    • Continuouslymonitor the performance and service levelsof external suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's quality, safety, and cost-efficiency standards.
    • Ensurecompliance with local regulationsand corporate standards through effective management of external contractors and facilities operations.
  • Primary Point of Contact:

    • Act as the keyliaisonfor alllandlord services, ensuring smooth operations at all Opella sites by resolving issues and maintaining effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Site Management & Coordination:

    • Oversee operations at the main Opella site (with over 100 employees) and manage2-3 additional co-working or Opella spaceswithin the region.
    • Ensureseamless space management, including access control and adherence to workplace standards, across all locations.
  • Budget & Resource Management:

    • Manage budgetsrelated to facilities and external service providers, ensuring alignment with business goals while optimizing costs.
    • Ensure effective resource allocation to maintain the operational efficiency of Opella sites within the designated budget.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and coordinate both internal teams (includingHSE, security, technical staff, and nurses) and external facilities management teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence between internal staff and external suppliers.
  • Security & HSE Compliance:

    • Implement and maintainall necessary security measures, ensuring full compliance withhealth, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelinesat all sites.
    • Lead the development and implementation ofmulti-annual HSE improvement plans, driving continuous safety improvements.
  • Workplace Experience & Hospitality:

    • Lead theWorkplace Experience strategy, creating a welcoming, efficient, and high-standard environment across all Opella sites.
    • Manage hospitality services, includingevent organization, supply management, meal subsidies, and external parking services provided by vendors.
  • Sustainability & Culture:

    • Ensure that all facilities adhere tosustainability standardsand align withOpella's brand values and culture.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for theOpella Business Head, overseeing all site-related activities, including union relations.
    • Represent the Eastern Europe region in theGlobal CHC Real Estate and Workplace network, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration.
About You:
  • Languages: Fluent inHungarianandEnglish.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aSite HeadorFacilities Managementposition, with proven expertise inmanaging external suppliersand overseeing multi-sitefacilities operations.
  • HSE Expertise:
    • AdvancedHSE training certificationas required by local regulations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong track record ofnegotiating contractsand managing external providers.
    • Exceptionalteam leadershipandbudget managementskills.
    • Proven ability to managemulti-site projectsin a regional or multi-country setting.
    • Autonomous, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
