Main responsibilities:
- Category management, in line with the Global Category Strategy, deliver end to end Regional strategy for Construction & Engineering Services following the Global Category Management process: internal, external analysis to create strategic direction for each category & sub-category
- Maintain knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry benchmarks
- Build up robust regional stakeholder map & community of practice to leverage technology, opportunities and implement strategic direction globally in close collaboration with Global Engineering/Manufacturing & Supply: Develop and implement Global procurement strategies understanding regional footprint and specificities, anticipate and consolidate all business needs to develop action plans, and facilitate implementation of procurement strategy
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- Act as a change agent, bring outside innovation and leverage global footprint
- Lead multi location projects/support RFQ, execute negotiations as needed for Automation process equipment project, and deliver world class total savings objectives
- Develop strategic Supplier Relationships programs: Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance, issue Resolution: Manage and resolve any issues with suppliers
- Metrics and savings reporting: Track and report functional metrics, prepare and manage the procurement savings
- Ensure procurement technical excellence (Total cost ownership, Supplier Relationship Management, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, Corporate social responsibility, Environmental Social and Governance, compliance, quality)
- Identifying Needs: Determine what goods, services, and materials are needed for CAPEX projects. Build pipeline & forecast of CAPEX activities in your region
- CAPEX package Analysis: Review, compare, and analyze CAPEX packages and services to be purchased
- Goods Delivery Oversight: Oversee the delivery of purchased goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- As per mandate/need of RCM/GLB, manage Business Reviews with identified key suppliers
About you
Experience:
- Professional Capex procurement experience in pharma industry
Soft skills:
- Good knowledges of CAPEX, construction & Equipment Supplier market of Pharmaceutical
- Preferred demonstrated knowledge of procurement systems, processes and procedures
- Analytical and negotiation skills and techniques
- Strong Project Management skill and knowledge
- Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or another relevant field
Languages:
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English required, French or German are a plus
