As Pricing Apprentice in the UKIE Market Access Team, you'll play a part in bringing new medicines to patients in the UK and Ireland. You'll lead pricing initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in pricing processes, while enjoying lots of opportunities to learn about the UK and Ireland Market Access environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide project management support for Pricing and Market Access projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget, and delivered to the agreed KPIs.
• Develop understanding of national pricing and reimbursement mechanisms and the impact of any policy changes.
• Develop effective working partnerships with key internal stakeholders including Market Access colleagues, Business Units, Finance and Global Pricing teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of pricing processes.
• Develop expertise on pricing data sources and analyse these to provide insights to support pricing strategy.
• Maintain pricing databases and manage internal price approval processes.
• Act as a key contact for pricing information for global teams, UK colleagues, customers and external price listing systems such as MIMS and the BNF.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure prices are within approved thresholds. Implement a robust quarterly control process to ensure any deviations are identified, and put in place corrective plans.
• Support Business Units to plan for external price listings for new product launches.

About you

• Numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel (other analytics platforms such as PowerBI a bonus).
• Affinity to new digital channels, tools and trends.
• Demonstrates positive attitude, proactive, embraces collaborative team atmosphere and comfortable with dynamic environment.
• Educated to A-level (or equivalent) or undergraduate degree.
• Science or business subjects a bonus.
• Fluent English speaker.
