As an Engagement and Access Associate Apprentice you will play an intrinsic part working alongside the local NEAM to support the development of strong NHS customer relationships with those involved in the market access and approval of Specialty medicines as well as the Commissioning of the appropriate Patient Specialist services.

Main responsibilities:
- A field based role which develops and maintains productive and sustained relationships with Senior Decision makers within the NHS, who have the capability to influence, promote or inhibit Sanofi business at a subnational level (e.g. appropriate roles within ICBs, Subnational Networks, Regional NHSE ABPI & HINS)
- Supports a culture of high performance, accountability and empowerment across the cross functional Sanofi team and is willing to stretch and take on new challenges
- Develops an in depth understanding of the new NHS customers and organisations including their financial and organisational objectives, commissioning processes and providers, in order to develop appropriate opportunities for Sanofi Speciality Care that meet the specialist services and customer needs
- Works with all relevant functions within Sanofi in terms of head office and field based to help shape strategy in line with NHS priorities to accelerate product access and deliver on brand priorities at a National and subnational level
- Develop and implement access, growth and defence plans tailored to specific NHS regions or specialties, ensuring alignment with local priorities and requirements
- Policy and Market Access Advocacy: Monitor policy developments and advocate for policies that support improved market access within the NHS, engaging with relevant stakeholders and industry associations
- Being the leads within Sanofi UK on collaborative working with healthcare systems in line with the Sanofi collaborative Working SOP
- Provide expert assessment of our customers' needs and based on in depth analysis, develop and deliver effective solutions. Anticipates future NHS Service needs necessary for the Implementation of Sanofi Portfolio
- Provide expert project management support to the NHS as well as effective project assessments, to deliver on agreed project outcomes / goals
- Responsible for upholding the integrity of Sanofi's vision and aligning this with the strategy of the NHS
- Undertake the Association of British Pharmaceuticals qualification
About you
- Interest in working in the sales and Market Access sector for pharmaceutical industry or healthcare
- Desire to undertake further education to develop knowledge and skills in Sales and Market Access sector
- Experience of Office 365, together with PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Detail-orientated, organised and adaptable (able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines)
- Good communicator with excellent all-around writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, self-manage and prioritise workload
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Ability to work within a complex corporate organisational structure
- Team player with a positive attitude, always acting with a high degree of personal and professional integrity
