The MSL are the extension of the medical function in the field. They build and develop enduring 'win-win' relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to disseminate scientific information and generate insights. The MSL provide hybrid medical support (70% in the field and 30% in the office) that is aligned and integrated to the overall medical strategy within the Business Unit.

Main responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining trusted partnerships, through scientific engagement and exchange, with healthcare professionals and institutions in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment
  • Engaging external stakeholders on medical and scientific information exchange for the therapeutic area during one-to-one interactions and group settings
  • Organizing and engaging KOLs & HCPs plans and reports during local group scientific meetings (hospital staff meetings, webinars, etc) according to the Stakeholder Engagement plan, aligned with Country Medical plan
  • Communication of the clinical value of the TA products to population-health/formulary decision makers (outcomes Liaisons, as applicable)
  • Providing high-quality, accurate, balanced and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests for information, supports investigators in IIR submissions, management of local advisory boards
  • Generating high-value, actionable insights and proposing solutions
  • Collaborating effectively with relevant internal stakeholders while maintaining full compliance with company, industry, legal and regulatory requirements

About you

Experience:
  • First professional experience in the field of Haematology / Oncology / Transplant preferred
  • Experience in initiating and driving projects to raise standards of care and change clinical practice
  • Experience in leading and driving rapid integrated evidence planning and execution through deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder evidence needs and robust data gaps analysis

Soft and technical skills:
  • IT skills (especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Teams, Zoom) are required
  • Ability to work independently with a solutions-oriented and balanced approach to ambiguity
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills

Education:
  • Scientific higher degree in medicine, biology, pharmacy, chemistry, or other life science degree is desirable

Languages:
  • Business fluent knowledge of German and English (oral & written)
