We are seeking a skilled and experienced Methodology and Optimization Framework Lead team. You will play a vital role in providing expert guidance and act as a methodology and optimization guardian.

Main responsibilities:

Define IC&P methodology
  • Ensure that current IC&P methodology is properly cascaded to local teams
  • Drive improvement initiatives to further strengthen IC&P methodology
  • Contribute to implementation of Thoughtful Risk-Taking principles in IC&P ways of working
  • Reflect aligned assurance principles in IC&P methodology
  • Propose improvements/simplifications

Provide framework for Risk Assessment
  • Prepare, align, communicate and ensure execution of Global Risk Assessment in coordination with the accountable that will facilitate the scoping of controls to be reviewed in the Internal Control Manual
  • Prepare kick-off materials and train the network to support successful implementation
  • Only for transition period: coordinate annual Risk Assessment campaign

Provide framework for annual control self-assessment (CSA)
  • Drive scoping of annual control self-assessment and testing (non-SOX) campaigns: including local risk assessment methodology
  • Prepare, align, communicate and ensure execution of CSA planning in coordination with the accountable.
  • Prepare kick-off materials and train the network to support successful implementation
  • Closely cooperate with IC&P Tools and Reporting Manager on creation of respective campaigns in tool Interact
  • Get solid understanding of IC&P reporting tool Interact to be able to propose simplifications to the current process
  • Only for transition period: coordinate annual Risk Assessment campaign

Analyse results and progress monitoring
  • Analyse results of Internal Control Campaign at Sanofi level
  • Create standard reporting to present results of internal control campaigns and risk assessment
  • Closely cooperate with IC&P Tools and Reporting Manager on creation of respective reports in Power BI
  • Get solid understanding of IC&P reporting tool Interact to be able to propose simplifications to the current process

Drive Optimization and continuous improvement projects
  • Lead in the E2E Risk Management project
  • Lead optimization projects related to Internal Control Methodology (excluded SOX)
  • Support SCAD (Standardization, Centralization, Automation and Data Analytics) initiatives
  • Support Communication and Awareness campaigns facilitating material related to IC&P Methodology and Framework

About you

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
  • Communication / Internal Control / Internal Audit / Finance / Project Management

MAJOR SKILLS (soft and technical) AND COMPETENCIES
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Ability to step back and find the simplest solution
  • Rigorous, assertive, but also adaptive to fast changing environment
  • High level of autonomy
  • Process-oriented with a good awareness of (or capability to acquire) Internal Control
  • Professional and open minded
  • Team player with strong communication skills

EDUCATION
  • Degree in Finance and/or IT, Internal Control, Audit, Project Management

LANGUAGES
  • Advance English
