About the job
You will join the Real Estate and Workplace Experience and Record Information Team (RE & Wx & RIM) newly created team. This team monitors the creation of all OPELLA locations and services and manages all issues for the Consumer Healthcare Business Unit buildings worldwide.
The newly created team will develop the strategic roadmap and implement new business models for Real Estate and the workplace Experience.
The HSE & Office manager will be responsible for main activities related to the Opella site. As the office manager you will be the point of contact for the Landlord services and will coordinate and supervise all relations (internal and external providers) for the management of the site.You will be responsible for leading the Workplace Experience organization at the site enabling all employees (more than 300 employees) and guests to work in a safe, innovative and efficient environment that is in accordance with relevant local laws and regulations, corporate HSE and CSR policies and economic standards.You will work closely with the local management, including the country leadership team and Managers of global function located at the Site, Reporting to the Global Site Head Lead.
You have a HSE background and you'll take the lead in coordinating HSE support on Opella Mexican site. Additionally, this role will coordinate the occupational health services needed to meet or exceed regulatory compliance and company guidelines. This role will contribute to and promote overall health, safety and wellness initiatives at the Mexico site.
Main responsibilities
- First point of contact for all services provided by the Landlord (Real Estate and Workplace Experience)
- Management of all activities and resources to keep the Opella space in line with the business expectations and budget (incl. processes). You negotiate and coordinate agreements with external service providers and monitor service provision.
- You develop a "People engagement" plan with the communication and P&C teams.
- Establish and maintain an exceptional safety culture and HSE leadership.
- Identify legal obligations and develop strategies to ensure HSE/OH compliance.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures to mitigate compliance breaches.
- You will implement all security guidelines for the site and our employees in connection the Global Site security guidelines.
- Responsible for the implementation of legal and company-internal HSE guidelines to prevent occupational accidents and diseases within your area of responsibility. This includes the regular communication of occupational safety topics and the implementation of occupational safety training based on the risk assessment and the HSE strategy which must be created as multi annual improvement plan and, endorsed by the main Stakeholders on the Site (Country leadership team) You will be accountable for Workplace Experience, HSE & Security compliance at the site
- Define, control, and manage a competitive Workplace Experience budget at the site.
- Point of Contact for the Business Opella Head for all activities related to the site(including Work Unions relations) and participate in the Global CHC RE and Workplace network.
- Management of supplies/kiosks for drinks &, if necessary and management of any external providers for meal subsidies and additional offsite parking places outside the building.
- You will be the "Hospitality" lead and will have to define the "hospitality" approach for the site including Events organization.
- You will be responsible to maintain the site at the requested standard in term of sustainability, brands Centricity and Opella Culture.
About you
- Local language & English fluent- MUST HAVE
- Minimum 5 years in office management and HSE/road safefy/office safety position MUST HAVE
- Understanding of legal HSE requirements/ legislative issues. MUST HAVE
- Strong experience in Hospitality Management
- Advanced training certificate in HSE if local requirement. MUST HAVE
