As Head of Supply Chain PCU (Process Centric Unit), you will be responsible for ensuring feasible and efficient scheduling of orders, batch allocation, and flavor management within the firm horizon to cover all demands. This role ensures alignment with regulatory constraints, supports supply and demand optimization, drives continuous improvement, and leads cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth planning and execution. The Head of Supply Chain PCU contributes to performance tracking, manages operational risks, and supports the development of PCU teams, ensuring compliance with operational standards and timely decision-making across planning horizons. This role is counterpart of the PCU Leadership team.

Main responsibilities:
- Participate in the elaboration, observation and enforcement of standard and structured planning rules/processes.
- Responsible for feasibility and reliability of short-term scheduling plans to ensure the right balance between supply security and cost efficiency.
- Ensure that up-to-date, feasible production plans are recorded in SAP/Athena according to the availability of machine and human resources.
- Responsible for maintenance of planning item master data.
- Monitoring planning/scheduling adherence, identify root causes in case of plan changes, follow up of action plans if necessary.
- Monitor the performance of Site Schedulers and Flow Controllers, supporting team members in their professional development.
- Supporting the preparation of long-term plans.
- Ensuring that SMS 2.0 standards are applied (incl. Role cards, standard workplan, standard process & flows, data management).
- Contributing to performance and process improvement proposals.
About you
Experience:
- Proven track record in production planning/scheduling gained at industrial manufacturing site.
- Proficient with planning & ERP-systems (SAP) with the ability to analyze data and build recommendations to support decision making.
- Solid understanding of logistics processes, company economics, and management practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in driving operational efficiency and business success.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage long-term projects and drive effective decision-making processes.
- Analytical mindset and creativity, combined with excellent communication and negotiation skills to address challenges and find innovative solutions.
- Flexible and adaptable, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to manage and guide teams towards achieving business objectives.
- Strong managerial knowledge and decision-making capabilities, ensuring strategic thinking and successful team leadership.
- Advanced user level of IT proficiency.
- High level, university-, or college degree
- Proficiency in English at a negotiation level, including both written and verbal communication skills.
- Hungarian is a must
