As Head of Reliability and Support, you will be responsible for ensuring overall plant reliability, optimizing maintenance value and cost effectiveness, managing spare parts inventory, driving continuous improvement initiatives, tracking compliance, managing asset care and obsolescence and overseeing the calibration and qualification team.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure overall plant reliability and advocate for the site reliability program.
• Optimize maintenance value and cost effectiveness.
• Manage and optimize spare parts inventory.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and efficiency opportunities.
• Track compliance and ensure audit/inspection readiness.
• Make key decisions on staffing, reliability strategy, and prioritization of reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manufacturing machine life cycle planning

About you

Experience:

• Experience in working on similar position
• Strong people management skills (talent acquisition, performance management, development).
• Experience in budgeting and financial control.
• Proficiency in engineering principles and practices.
• Skills in developing and implementing strategic plans.
• Maintenance and Reliability Certification will be an asset
• Reliability Engineering Techniques: Knowledge of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
• Compliance and Audit Readiness: Understanding of compliance tracking and audit/inspection processes.

Soft Skills:

• Leadership: Ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving reliability goals.
• Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying issues and developing innovative solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively convey complex information.
• Collaboration: Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to manage changing priorities and new technologies.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

Languages:

• Fluency in Hungarian, English on advanced level

Education:

• Engineering degree or equivalent (advanced degree or MBA preferred).
