Our Team

We are Sanofi's CHC Ethics and Business Integrity (EBI) team.

We are a team of strategic business stakeholders who establish the CHC Fit-for-Purpose EBI Program to address CHC business needs and ethics, compliance and privacy risks and who drive cultural transformation enabling fast ethical decision-making and accountability.

The Head of EBI AMEA and Global Brands oversees the implementation and continuous enhancement of the CHC Ethics & Business Integrity (EBI) Program and the ethical cultural transformation enabling ethical decision making, conduct and accountability across AMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa) Region and provide EBI support for Global Brands

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee implementation and continuous enhancement of a Fit-For-Purpose EBI Program for Consumer Healthcare for AMEA region. This includes policies and procedures, training and communication, risk assessment etc.
  • Oversee establishment of EBI governance and oversight for AMEA region
  • Drive implementation of EBI Program and governance including chair country/zone Ethics & Compliance Committee in China and Australia (direct oversight)
  • Provide strategic advice and support to AMEA and Australia and China leadership teams on ethics and compliance related matters
  • Provide ethics and compliance advice and support to Australia and China stakeholders for a broad spectrum of activities and brands
  • Drive cultural transformation through ethical culture initiatives and implement plans to address areas for enhancement based upon ethical culture measurement
  • Oversee implementation of Third Parties EBI Program across AMEA
  • Lead or support implementation of Distributor Partners EBI Program for partner markets in collaboration with Global EBI
  • Work closely with the Global EBI team to provide regional/zone insights and information for the enhancement of Global EBI Program
  • Work closely with Global Brand EBI Officers for coordination of matters pertaining to country implementation of global brand related activities
  • Support ethics and compliance investigations and recommend disciplinary and corrective measures
  • Perform predictive monitoring and other reviews to identify, detect, prevent, mitigate and predict risks
  • Drive the generation of meaningful insights such as trends, risk areas, areas of enhancement, root causes and outliers through data analytics
  • Drive and monitor the execution of enhancement/remedial action plans
  • Shape the external environment representing Sanofi CHC in ethics and compliance groups of industry self-care associations and relevant organizations
  • Manage directly a team of EBI Officers across AMEA

About you

Experience:

  • 15 + years of experience in ethics and compliance in China or various countries within AMEA
  • Previous experience in HealthCare or Consumer Goods industries
  • Previous experience on providing support in organizations with global assets/brands structure is a plus
  • Previous experience working within multinational and multicultural environments
  • Experience in people's management

Technical skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of international business ethics and compliance principles, extraterritorial laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of healthcare related laws and regulations applicable in China and other countries within AMEA
  • Expertise in providing sound, ethical advice to management on a broad range of business issues
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word

Education:

  • University degree in management/business administration, law or other relevant discipline/qualifications
  • Healthcare compliance certifications is a plus

  • Well organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative work environment and manage numerous projects simultaneously under pressure
  • Creative thinker who is ready and willing to challenge the status - quo and innovate
  • Adaptability to embrace a dynamic and diverse working environment
  • Ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop team members

Languages:

  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills in Mandarin and English
  • Professional proficiency in other languages commonly spoken in AMEA region is a plus
