The Graphic Designer - Launch & Commercialization Excellence will support an offshore team dedicated to supporting the launch and commercialization of new products, ensuring seamless business continuity and driving strategies aligned with global priorities in Launch & Commercialization Excellence, GenAI, and digital presence optimization.

Main responsibilities:

The overall purpose and main responsibilities are listed below:

Support the projects from designing and content enhancement (motion/static as relevant) perspective from the development and initiation phases through implementation and completion within scope defined by the Launch & Commercialization Excellence team/GTMC. Design and develop web-based components/templates in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript from the ground up as per the provided guidelines and specifications and support capabilities development.

Design and produce (in collaboration with Launch & Commercialization Excellence writing team) graphic components as needed for training and communication materials (including but not limited to brochures, e-learning modules, emailers, newsletters, interactive visual aids/slide decks, images, icons, gifs, scrolls, carousals, video capabilities [KOL interview videos/videos/video articles/video editing/video animation etc.], audio clips/podcasts/audio articles/sound editing, infographics/infographic animation, flip books). Support pre-launch and launch related activities like Adboards, Congress activities, playbook etc. as relevant.

  • People: (1) Maintain effective relationship with the stakeholders within the allocated GTMC pillar and cross-pillars - with an end objective to develop content and establish operational excellence as per requirement; (2) Constantly assist project team on methods/processes (3) Partner with Head/Lead for individual development plans (4) Collaborate with cross-functional teams in GTMC to build digital transformation/to bring innovative digital solutions (5) Provide proactive recommendations on improving content design excellence and play an active role to follow the best practices in relation to processes, communications, project management, documentation and technical requirements
  • Performance: (1) Support development of tools, technology, and processes to constantly improve quality and productivity (2) Collaborate with writing team and other designers to ensure delivery as per agreed timelines and quality; (3) Collaborate with team/Head/Lead to develop process, and technological expertise; and (4) Recommend and implement tactical process improvements within the department and division-wide
  • Process: (1) Support delivery of projects in terms of tools, technology, quality, timeliness, efficiency, and high technical standards for deliveries made by Content Operations Hub; (2) Contribute to overall quality enhancement by ensuring high design/content enhancement standards for the output produced by the Hub; (3) Secure adherence to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards; (4) Facilitate development of complex scientific content (branded/unbranded); (5) Designing and setting up new templates adhering to brand guidelines and manage the continuity (6) Help build capabilities across GBUs/therapeutic area(s); (7) Work with selected vendors within the region to deliver the required deliverables as per defined process; (8) Leverage advanced training delivery tools and techniques (upskill/self-learn/co-learn [share best practices with team]) for enhancing the effectiveness of process delivery
  • Stakeholder: (1) Work closely with Global, Local, and Hub to enhance content visualization and assist in developing assigned deliverables and (2) Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide relevant and customized deliverables
About you
  • Experience: 2-6 years of experience in graphic design, video creation, content enhancement, and new media; with specialization in HTML emailers and Web graphic design; experience in content creation/optimization/designing excellence in medico-marketing/medical/commercial domain for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry/digital platforms is preferred
  • Soft skills: Stakeholder management; proficient in written & oral communication skills; strong organizational and time management skills; and ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Technical skills: Graphic designing and content enhancement capabilities (static and/or motion designing [including the below but not limited to]):
    • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Dreamweaver and Microsoft PowerPoint/Word tools
    • Articulate Storyline 360 experience is desirable
    • Familiarity with web design principles and responsive design, experience in designing for various digital platforms and formats is desirable
    • Use of Figma as preferred WebDesign tool; familiarity with Veeva and SFMC platform is desirable; must have creative knowledge in Photoshop for Layout, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive website designing (Bootstrap)
    • Should have knowledge of W3C validation, Google page speed and email campaigning
    • Ability to translate complex information in to video or other allied effortless ways to communicate visually
    • Ability to think creatively, aesthetically, independently and having good knowledge on all the graphic and current design trends
    • Experience / knowledge following brand guidelines while working on deliverables and preparing templates
  • Education: Graduate or postgraduate in any stream, primarily in graphic design or art with focus on visualization of scientific content (medico-marketing/medical/commercial domain for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry/digital platforms)
  • Languages: Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
