This includes activities such as partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assist with building project scopes, consolidate all business needs and specification, conduct Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiate contracts renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and manage overall relationships with key suppliers. The scope of this position is global and for all entities of Sanofi Group.

Main responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Ensure the implementation and operational follow-up of action plans derived from the strategies defined by the Category Management and/or Procurement Business Partners, in close collaboration with the procurement network and stakeholders
- Provide support to the Global Lead Buyer of the category to ensure the execution of the strategy and sourcing execution and deliver savings pipeline in line with targets
- Lead global RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for your domain/category and report on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities you are in charge of
- Stay informed on current industry trends and new market developments related to your category area while undertaking benchmarking against other industries and best practices
- Run robust Supplier Management with business reviews & performance management, ensure mastery of Procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality, etc.)
- Work closely with procurement services to leverage as much as possible the middle and back-offices services
Stakeholder Management:
- Develop strong partnership with your key internal customers, and foster two-way supportive relationships with them while presenting Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input
About you
Experience:
- 3+ years' experience in Procurement or preclinical or related fields
- Technical knowledge of the category/domain, good understanding of finance and legal aspects
Soft skills:
- Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented
- Transversal/ Project Management
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
- Able to quickly assimilate new information/skillsand readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working
- Team player with excellent interpersonal sensitivity
Education:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree from accredited University (master degree is preferred)
Languages:
- Fluency in English is a must. Any second European Language like French or German (at proficient level) is a plus
