We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Lead Buyer - Raw Materials to join our procurement team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for raw materials, ensuring a reliable supply chain while optimizing costs. Your expertise in supplier management, negotiation, and market analysis will be key in driving our procurement excellence and supporting our mission to deliver high-quality products across the globe.

Main Responsibilities:
- Defining a global strategy and market intelligence for several components (Organic oil, gum, flavor and vegetal extract) as well as E2E procurement strategy for a product brand (Unisom, Xyzal)
- Ensuring the deployment and execution of these strategies on the 12 Sanofi/Opella sites
- Deploying and executing the Raw Material category strategies on 1 site (Chattanooga)
- Establishing and monitoring sites Budget and strategy plan
- Being point of contact for all procurement Direct for 1 Sanofi/Opella site
- Drive the development of new market opportunities (new launchings, new technologies, sustainable components)
About You
- Bachelors' degree in Pharmaceutical engineering/process, Chemistry Engineer or equivalent
- Minimally 5 years' experience in Procurement or Project Management in relationship with Suppliers and Industrial Affairs
- Leadership skills and experience with proven track record in building and leading cross functional teams
- Ability to understand the products, the supplier and product processes
- Effective communication skills (oral & written)
- Strong team spirit, open minded, curiosity and creativity
- Pragmatic and result oriented
- Easy to work in complex environment, ability to synthesis and to move straight to the point
- Autonomy, take action and don't wait to be told what to do
