Reporting to the Global Head of People & Culture Strategy & Portfolio, this highly visible position is responsible for developing the organization design capability and leading a team of internal consultants to execute organization design and effectiveness projects at the enterprise level. The incumbent will partner closely with the Corporate Strategy team including the Transformation Office to execute projects and initiatives in support of our business growth and ambition.
The incumbent will be strategic, deeply knowledgeable about people & culture (human resources), organizational development (including organization design, effectiveness and optimization, restructuring, people M&A, culture and leadership/team effectiveness, continuous improvement, and implementation. Previous experience in global, regional, and country roles is highly preferred including experience with organization implementation encompassing social relations.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of internal consultants to deliver organization design and effectiveness capability to the organization including enterprise or global business unit/function (GBU/GF) stakeholders for large-scale transformations, projects, and initiatives
- Lead the development and implementation of organization design strategies across Sanofi, ensuring alignment with business goals and cultural values
- Collaborate with senior leaders and serve as an expert resource on organization design and a challenger/sparring partner to drive to optimal outcomes that will drive business impact
- Lead the organization workstream on transformation projects including organization design, implications, restructuring plans, and leading multi-country implementations inclusive of partnering with country P&C on social processes, where needed
- Partner with geography or GBU/GF P&C business partners to ensure smooth implementation of organizational changes
- Develop our internal organization design capability for People & Culture including development of guides, playbooks, methodology, etc. and support the upskilling of our P&C community where needed
- Co-lead a network of Organization Development Heads in the GBUs/GFs (with the Head of Organization Change & Readiness) to activate and embed projects, initiatives, methodologies, etc.
- Stay current of industry and innovative organization design practices; share and incorporate them into Sanofi's methodologies and practices, as appropriate
About You
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a mix of organization design, culture transformation, change management, and transformation implementation
- Experience leading organization/people implementation workstreams in transformation projects
- Experience with leading cross-functional and global teams including leadership through influence
- Consulting experienced required; a blend of consulting and in-house/industry work experience preferred
- Highly knowledgeable in organizational design methodologies and tools
- Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization including senior leadership teams
- Clear communicatory and storyteller including via PowerPoint/slides production
- Experienced or open to learn about technology, AI, and a data-driven decision maker; experience with organization modelling tools a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, or human resources ideal; advanced degrees in industrial/organizational psychology a plus
- Certifications in related organization design areas a plus e.g., PROSCI
- Experience or project work across multiple industries preferable including life sciences, manufacturing, sales, etc.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
