Main responsibilities:
- Have a global remit and manage a team of global DE&I advisers / partners / apprentices
- Ensure the delivery of the DE&I strategy and track impact
- Act as lead coach to ERGs building their confidence and capacity to drive positive initiatives in line with the strategy and showcase their impact through story telling
- In collaboration with the Chief DC&E officer, PCLT and business leaders, help lead / contribute towards a systemic, sustainable, and progressive Inclusion agenda
- Create internal and external communications / events roadmap for the DEI agenda with the global head of DEI comms
- Ensure there is complete connectivity with our CSR/Sustainability agenda
- Work closely with the Heads of Culture and Experience, to develop and execute plans to engage employees and leaders in DE&I programmes to promote a culture of inclusivity
- Work closely with the Employee Experience partners and identify effective Inclusion practices / experiences into every phase of the employee lifecycle, to support the development of diverse talent working closely with the Employee Experience team
- Work closely with DCE Leads and Heads in other countries to lift and shift best practice
- Partner with Talent Acquisition / Management to ensure equity is at the centre of decision making
- Support our global initiative AMC, and partner with the team to amplify efforts in delivering on our representation commitments
- In partnership with the Learning team, shape the DE&I learning experience to support an inclusive and diverse environment
- Articulate appropriate metrics to measure all relevant aspects of Inclusion and provide updates to the key stakeholders
- Use data and AI tools to provide regular insights and identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement to the wider business - leading on the DEI element in Plai with the People Insights team
- Monitor external Inclusion policy and practice and ensure policies are fit for purpose
About you
Experience:
- A global and cultural mindset and want to be a citizen of the world and change maker10+ years team management
- 10-15+ years DE&I practitioner/engagement/culture experience in setting and implementing projects end to end
- Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the issues at play in DE&I worldwide
- Capability of setting clear strategy with robust measures in place
- Good knowledge of Inclusion best practices across different underrepresented groups
- Strong project management, analysis and reporting skills, able to demonstrate delivery of data informed approaches to Inclusion
- Ability to act as a coach, trainer and mentor, building skills, knowledge, and capacity within the organisation
- Experience of developing and implementing D&I initiatives in practical and innovative ways, drawing on technology to improve
- A high level of self-awareness, empathy, diplomacy, and confidentiality
- Well-connected externally into DE&I networks and communities
