The Director of Patient Support Services will lead and support the strategic development and tactical execution for PSS Marketing activities. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Alliance partners, field, commercial and vendor partner teams. The role will lead branding and messaging pull-through for the program to ensure program value is shared and maximized. The candidate must be strategic, highly organized, flexible, and adept at handling multiple projects with cross functional teams and tight deadlines. This will be a highly visible position interacting with many internal functional groups within Sanofi and external vendors.The position is based in Cambridge and will report to the Senior Director, Patient Support Services.

Main Responsibilities:

A summary of responsibilities is outlined below, however, the ability to flex and prioritize in response to changing business needs is of the utmost importance.

  • Lead the development and execution of the PSP brand identity, messaging, and positioning across all marketing channels
  • Develop and execute on HCP and patient tactical plans, ensuring alignment to strategic imperatives and consistency in message
  • Manage agency of record for execution of PSS marketing tactics, promotional review approvals and fulfillment
  • Lead the Patient Support Services Brand Plan - identifying patient journey pain points, understanding brand priorities and aligning to strategic pillars
  • Act as primary liaison with cross-functional teams, including Alliance brand partners, market access, and field teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration on marketing initiatives and business goals
  • Lead PSS Advisory Boards to develop critical insights for upcoming potential launches and label expansions
  • Conduct PSS quarterly business reviews and field training refreshers to drive awareness and education for the PSP resources and programs
  • Manage PSS marketing budget; demonstrating leadership in fiscal responsibility and accurate budget management
  • Inspire the team to embrace play to win behaviors in every aspect of their work
  • Act as a sponsor and ally for inclusion and diversity in all elements of our business

About You:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry experience, including marketing and patient support services
  • Strong project management experience, especially with large, complex projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the agility to work across a diverse range of strategic and operational topics
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize and present complex topics to senior executives
  • Collaborative, team player with ability to build and maintain networks across diverse functions and geographies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred

    Specialty care launch experience preferred

The salary range for this position is $171,000.00 - $228,000.00 USD Annually. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
