Role & Responsibility
Demand planning is an essential role within Consumer HealthCare(CHC) Supply Chain Department, in our transformation journey of becoming the Best Fast Moving Consumer Healthcare Company (FMCH) in and for the world.
We are looking for Demand Manager, who can lead Japan CHC's overall demand planning. The candidate is expected to closely interact with a wide range of stakeholders (at affiliate level with the General Manager, Marketing, Sales, Finance Team but also at Global/ Regional level with Supply Chain counterpart and Industrial sites & External Manufacturers) and then obtain necessary information and consensus under monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and its timeline.
Japan is a key market within AMEA Region (China, India, ASEA, Australia & New Zealand and Africa&Middle East etc).
About you
The key responsibilities are as follows:
• Lead monthly IBP processes (portfolio management, demand planning, Supply review etc) and present outputs to Key Stakeholders at both Country and Regional level,
• Review, assess, and challenge when necessary, forecast assumptions and supply constraints with a range of up to 36 months horizon to propose the most realistic, accurate forecast for both internal/external key stakeholders (both commercial team and industrial partners)
• Lead the company DPX (Digital Transformation) initiative working closely with overseas Center of Excellence (CoE) team to improve statistical forecast for the company's brands.
• Review and assess inventory and supply plan for all products and take appropriate actions in a timely manner to optimize and achieve the company's inventory target with a minimum level of slow-moving and obsoletes.
• Support IBP Lead for ensuring entire SCBP operational management and improve the current business processes when necessary.
