Main responsibilities:
  • Drives the CA strategy setting in alignment with Global/ MCO/ local CA plan , engagement, and activation of all external stakeholders who drive or influence the policies that determine Sanofi's ability to successfully secure patient's access to medicines and vaccines
  • Creates a favourable environment for Sanofi in public, the health administration and among other companies within the country.
  • Responsible for overarching delivery of all government, policy, media, social, and internal GM communication for Sanofi across Pharma and Vaccines
  • Represents the company in relevant Trade association working groups / committees
  • Map, build and manage close relationships and partnerships with key national/local stakeholders and decision makers to execute an impactful local Public Affairs/ external engagement tactical plan supporting the development of health care policy environment favourable to patients and Sanofi business.
  • Anticipate new local trends that are influencing the health environment, payer policy and business results. Collaborates with MCO CA Head/EU liaison in order to implement the strategy related to EU policy Agenda
  • Support the shaping of HC policies with relevant stakeholders and policy makers to bring innovation access to patients and reinforce Sanofi position in relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Provides information to the Country Council and ensures alignment & One Sanofi voice of its members and all Sanofi representatives in the different committees to the trade Associations/ for a where the company operates.
  • Oversee ESG strategy in the country partnering with External and activities through partnership with the MCO Communication Leads.
  • Support Country lead in his/her engagements with external stakeholders (health Authorities, Institutions, Health Policy Academia, PAGs, journalists, media and Trade Associations) .

About you

  • Experience:
    • Depth of experience in Public Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Broader CA experience working across or closely with communications, policy and external stakeholder management including government and peak bodies.
    • People management experience.
  • Soft and technical skills:
    • Demonstrated competence in managing complexity
    • Decisive and collaborative
    • Strong agility and decision making.
    • Focus, tolerance of ambiguity, resilience, persistence, influence, credibility.
    • Inclusive leadership style that champions diversity.
  • Education: University degree
  • Languages: Fluency in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken
